Meeting with Professor A. Fasano from University of Rome Luiss and University of Salerno
On September 17, lecturers and students of the Master's programme in Financial Markets and Institutions as well as HSE students of other Master's programmes are invited to attend a meeting with Professor A. Fasano

Topic 1. Specifics of education process at master programs in finance in universities Luiss and Salerno. The requirements to master theses and the process of their choice, justification of relevance and scientific directions of develoment, examples of master theses, the composition of training courses and the vision of new courses, forms of passing exams and examples of exam tasks, examples of project work of students.
Topic 2. Lection on the application of integration of software Bloomberg and R for performing research in the field of financial economics (including research projects of students and lecturers and preparation of master theses). The advantages of such integration and typical tasks for students will be demonstrated (on September 18, the solution to these tasks will be shown during practical seminars in the Bloomberg computer class).
The meeting will be part of Professor Fasano's visit to the Faculty of Economic Sciences which is scheduled to take place September 15-21, 2018. Professor Fasano works at the University of Rome Luiss and University of Salerno. He is one of the leading experts in the field of financial economics. Professor A. Fasano is invited in the framework of Teaching Excellence Initiative by the Master's programme in Financial Markets and Institutions and Project and Training Laboratory of Analysis of Financial Markets (head by Professor Tamara Teplova).
